We have a number of apartment options  in the village of Chalong, not too far from picturesque Chalong Bay.

Perhaps best known as one of the most convenient areas in Phuket to moor a yaht,  Chalong is a lively centre for yachties. The Ao Chalong Yacht Club, which organises regular sailing races, makes its base in Chalong Bay, and its bar is a favourite venue for sailors to meet up and enjoy a land-based drink.

Probably the most noticeable feature in Chalong is its 720-metre long, seven-metre wide jetty. The pier is mainly a hopping point for the many visitors going out to the nearby islands such as Koh Racha, Koh Lon Coral Island. There’s also a recently-built customs office, plus immigration and a harbour master, along with a tourist rescue centre.

Chalong has a generous share of nightlife nowadays, having grown over the last couple of decades from a sleepy little port to a fairly vibrant centre of activity. Chalong has plenty of options for a cold beer at the end of a day, with bars and restaurants at all ends of the scale. The biggest English pub in the south of Thailand is in Chalong: The Green Man. Our apartments in Chalong are not short of nearby entertainment.

The range of night-time entertainment in Chalong is surprising, given its diminutive size. On the waterfront, there’s The Lighthouse, one of the area’s most recognizable spots on the bay, and further along the Chalong seafront visitors can eat exquisite fresh seafood at Kan Eang@Pier, or fine dining at Viset Restaurant next door. On the pier road from Chalong Circle you’ll find Asado Gaucho Grill, where you can try the best barbecued meat in the area, or further down there’s Happy Days for an excellent English breakfast or Sunday roast.

The Tamarind Bar and Bull Ship Bar, also both on on the sea front are always relaxing spots for a beer; you might then want to finish the evening off in one of the several other bars just up the road. Within a short distance of the the Chalong apartments there are Italian, French, German and Mediterranean restaurants, and plenty of other establishments to choose from.

The two-bedroom and studio apartments in Chalong are located off Chao Fah West Road, north of of Chalong Circle.
